NEW NATIONWIDE SPIRIT BRAND LAUNCH:

In the early 2000’s when Guinness beer was launching their new product named Smirnoff Ice, there were virtually no popular bottled malts on the market. Brands like Zima had seen their time come & go, and Guinness was looking for an alternative, lighter and easier to drink product that could appeal to both men & women. We were directly involved in creating and executing the brand strategy and promotional campaign for the entire western U.S., from Seattle all the way to Houston. Part of the brand strategy was to make sure it was perceived as a younger, fresher brand, with equal appeal to both sexes in the 21-35 age demographic. We integrated & executed separate campaigns that appealed to different groups/settings; including groups partying in bars/nightclubs, guys getting together to watch the game at their local sports bar, as well as summer themed events on lakes and beaches. Soon after, the market became flooded with competing malt beverages from nearly every major brand such as Skyy, Captain Morgan, Budweiser, Jack Daniels, among countless others. Eventually most faded out, but 20 years later the Smirnoff Ice brand remains prominent in every retailer nationwide; we believe as a direct result of the diversity of the appeal & consumption settings we established.

MEDIA LAUNCH EVENT FOR NEW SPECIALTY HOSPITALTY VENUE:

Upon completion of a newly constructed specialty building, ownership wanted to create a unique media & VIP launch party to showcase the unique new concept in “Stay & Play” hospitality properties. PEM concepted the theme, brought in entertainment & vendors to have unique offerings around every corner, and got press releases out to relevant media. From there PEM brought in other luxury brands to exhibit, along with curating the guest list to ensure the right vibe. Finally, we incorporated a lighting/effects package to animate & distinguish the space, along with various other bells & whistles to bring significant exposure & awareness to the new concept while leaving the guests with unforgettable multi-level experience.

80’s themed NYE event we concepted & produced:

UPSCALE RESTAURANT/BAR RE-BRANDING:

When a new high end European restaurant/bar came to us, they had a beautiful venue with amazing food. But their clientele was primarily retiree age diners that lived in the immediate proximity, and the business died off by 8pm or earlier each night. They wanted to be able to attract Gen X and Millennials, not only for happy hour & dinner, but also for a later night lounge/dancing component after dinner. We conceived a European dining tour concept, where each week we would create a different trendy & lively European city’s vibe, including the food, ambiance, and energy. The concept was branded Europa, and each week we brought the patrons a full sensory experience of hot destinations like Ibiza, Milan, Prague, Mykonos, and Amsterdam to name a few. Each night featured a few specialty cocktails, entrees and desserts from the region, as well as entertainment and visual performances. The night closed out with a DJ playing upbeat lounge music with influences from the featured region. All this was promoted with an enticing video we directed & promoted throughout social media and other mediums. The venue greatly expanded their demographic appeal & guest counts, as well as a much longer window of viable business hours. The final bottom line sales were 2-3x higher.

LUXURY BRAND PRODUCT LAUNCH:

We took on a start up luxury/lifestyle brand client that unfortunately didn’t have a luxury brand budget, in fact, quite far from it. They wanted do a brand launch event that was different than the typical stuffy & tame cocktail party setting. They needed a concept, a venue in an upscale area, unique entertainment, as well as a way to reach their target market & get them to come. They also needed co-sponsor brands to help cover costs, as well as tickets sold to cover the rest. And for all this we had 16 days……We hit the ground running, first conceiving a throwback Vegas-era cabaret/variety show theme, complete with music performances & a mix of visual performers. Next, we directed the conceptual for invite graphics & ads, and then promoted it through our database, along with local influencers & tastemakers. We then secured the venue, along with 5 other complimenting luxury brands to participate, arranged all the production equipment, setup & logistics. Lastly, we staffed the whole event with spokesmodels, bartenders, floor crew, etc. By event night we had a few hundred of the ideal demographic audience show up, and it became a standing room only show. The guests all raved about the experience, and the brand got over 10x the value in impressions & in person engagement for their exceptionally modest budget.

JAMES BOND THEMED NYE EVENT FOR CHARITY BENEFIT:

A client wanted to offer up his estate for a high-end Bond themed event, to benefit a specialty animal shelter. We had the unique challenge of creating an upscale & highly entertaining event to appease discerning clientele, while also staying within the modest budget of a charity event. Client relied upon on us to concept, promote & produce the entire event and experience. We also brought on some luxury brands, vendors, and experiences to enhance the event, thus selling out the event more than a week prior to it happening. The guests were buzzing about it on social media for many weeks after, and the video speaks for itself.
